Starting Something

This is the first thing I’m putting on my own website, so it should probably say why the website exists at all.

I wanted a quiet place to write. Not a feed, not a platform that decides who sees what, not a place optimized to keep anyone scrolling. Just a page with words on it, that loads fast, and that I own.

So that’s what this is. When I have something worth working out in writing, it’ll show up here. Some of it will be unfinished. That’s fine — writing is how I figure out what I think, and you don’t get to the end of a thought without going through the messy middle.
